Don’t be afraid of expressing your personality when you create a personal brand. While professionalism is important, you don’t want your brand to be too corporate or robotic.   • Upwork takes a percentage of your contracts. It starts at 20% and drops when you reach certain revenue milestones.

Overall, Upwork is not a perfect platform. However, it can be a great way to connect with potential clients, especially if you’re starting.
